A little elevation work ahead of the @MakRun_Ug. Nyamweru trail takes you up Kanyinya Hill to around 1,781m above sea level, a beautiful, fairly easy trail, and honestly, I wanted more. 😂
I didn’t know the routes, so I just followed the trail and trusted the vibes.
As usual, the @zaabusportswear fit stayed consistent.. Today, @KabataFc ‘s Ish’Eka. Because apparently the leader has arrived… even on unfamiliar trails. 😂💙

A little time away, then straight back to business. 3 goals and 1 assist on the return.
Safe to say, I missed the game. Good to be back with the boys. And the @TeamMbararaCity kit by @zaabusportswear clearly came with a little extra fire.
We’re aware and as long as you’re happy, we’re happy for you and your decision. We were also aware of better and we chose Ntare School and we’re happy with our decision as well. It’s all good really, makes sense?
Ntare School OBs have no idea how lovely it was being at Chaapa; the pitch was the gateway to Kiyanja (the capital of happiness), Lake View, with River Rwizi beneath the school farm and the Nile Special plant just on the side now.
Fort Portal Marathon advance team is officially onsite.
Did a quick and easy 5K to settle in. Struggled a bit with the route since I don’t know Fort Portal that well, but the cool breeze made every kilometer feel lighter and I barely broke a sweat.
Fort Portal, you make running easy. Now it’s all eyes on Saturday. See you at the #FortportalCityMarathon
There’s always that one song that hits mid-run and suddenly everything aligns the pace, the mood, the mindset.
Right now, that song for me is Mwebare by @therealTruth256
7KM done around the hills of Mbarara… and today, it carried me.
