Loved Emi’s passion, but I’ve gotta say, Zion Suzuki’s personality is so refreshing compared to all those antics we’ve put up with over the years.

Genuinely seems like a great person.

Not a flashy performance by any means…

BUT…the most important part is that it was clearly a huge confidence boost for Garnacho.

He posted “Ready now!” on his IG last night after the game. He’s hungry, and now it’s time for Emery to let him prove it!

Ready now! 👍

“[Villa] haven't really got going yet and neither have many of the teams they are likely to be competing against.

Arsenal and Manchester City may already look a step ahead, but beyond them there is an opportunity waiting for somebody to take it.

There is absolutely no reason why that team cannot be Aston Villa.”

A bright take from Bardell on the season ahead despite the shaky start…

#AVFC's no so secret weapon is Unai Emery.

He could give Villa the edge in what I think is a wide open top 5 race, this season.

Some words on why Villa should still be aiming high.

@AstonVilla Madjo and Pau on the bench is a good sign

In honor of (at least some form of) Aston Villa football returning today with a friendly vs Sevilla (7:30p BST)…

Here’s a throwback to when Emery’s Sevilla won their third CONSECUTIVE Europa League.

Oddly similar play style to Emery’s #AVFC

I’m so ready for Emery to make Mbaye a consistent starter.

So much talent being wasted on the bench…

[Dan Bardell @danbardell]

#AVFC have welcomed back 3 key players to training.

Good news.

Reckon we will see them tomorrow?

@AstonVilla MADJO

@JP_FlipsnSlips Fairs. I just don't see any reason why he can't play to the system. But I trust Unai.

@AstonVilla We are so spoiled…So much passion!

@gtmaacrdsk15662 彼には間違いなく、もう少しスピードが必要だった。

This just shows how valuable Zion Suzuki’s distribution is…

This long ball creates a big chance out of absolutely nothing!

Only a matter of time until these start converting into goal contributions 🤞
