This happened to me at Harrahs in North Carolina. They have the only chargers within an hour drive of where I was staying (not at the hotel). They had 24 charging stations (12 Valet & 12 non-valet). Of the 12 non-valet, only 4 were working and 1 of those had a non EV parked in the ev stall. Conveniently, 10 of the 12 Valet chargers, we working and only 2 stalls were being used. I was charged $20 to valet my CT so I could charge but I really had no other choice. I could understand if all of the non-valet chargers were active and occupied but the weren’t so it made it seem like a money grab.
