Every single song on War Cult Supremacy sounds the exact same to me with exception of one song, its not bad music but it kinda gets boring after 3 songs
I’ve now lived in Japan for seven months, and I think it’s time to have an uncomfortable conversation about who this country is actually built for.
Everywhere I look, Japanese people own the homes, the businesses, and occupy almost all positions of institutional power, even though my people were vital in building this country.
As an immigrant my lived experience is consistently deprioritized and often times ignored. Generational wealth has been blatantly given to one group (Japs). While also the language requirements (Japanese) disproportionately benefiting them, effectively laundering privilege through the supposedly neutral concept of “communication.”
I’ve been doing the work for seven months, and yet I’m still expected to do additional work to understand my electricity bill, and why I myself should be paying the bill. When I raise these concerns, people ask whether I’ve considered learning the language, which places the burden of dismantling the system on the person least able, or frankly interested in learning their language.
This isn’t about wanting special treatment, it’s about asking the question of why I have not been given a centrally located apartment in the quaint historical district of Kyoto.
I’m not claiming to have all the answers, but after seven months here, I understand that dismantling these bigoted structures take time. I just expected these Japs would take more initiative.
@UlyxysI Whatever you want to call the civilization that existed in America before 1776, it wasn't based on freedom and democracy like modern American identity is.
Like I said, theres part of me that resonates with that past. But I see it as entirely different from the United States
@UlyxysI When Europeans landed in North America they had the intention of making this place as White as possible, thats what I resonate with.
I don't resonate with the American flag or the U.S government that is inherently connected to capitalism and liberal democracy
@UlyxysI Yeah but the difference is that America (The U.S 🇺🇸) was literally founded on those values, it didnt exist before that. Hating the history of Whites in NA is stupid, but American and Canadian identities serve zero purpose for the White race, it'll only hold us back
