@rtenews If parents actually cared they would take the 15 minutes to learn how to set time limits or block website on their children’s phones…
…but no daddy government must ban social media for children and make the rest of register with ID to ‘prove’ we are adults. Disgraceful.
@griptmedia The issue with the new curriculum is not that it teaches “progressive” ideology as a subject. It is that progressive liberal assumptions are embedded into the structure of the curriculum itself, making them the default lens through which every subject is taught. Parents beware.
@Niall_Boylan It’s more than data harvesting. It has allowed supermarkets incredible insight on consumer behaviour.
How do you think they have gotten away with such exorbitant price increases on specific necessities, while making the overall increase across all items seem to track inflation?
@twostoutanyway@PaulEmbery Nonsense.
Firstly the housing crisis has nothing to do with “right wing ideology” it’s due to the government not building houses for 10 years.
Secondly, immigration has absolutely worsened the situation. Adding more demand to a limited market turned a problem into a crisis.
@DrCarlHindy@IrenicCounselor@ChrisWillx “if it breaks existing laws in some way.”
Are you saying your sense of morality is based on what’s legal?
So, presumably, when abortion was illegal, you were against abortion then?
You see laws change all the time.
If it were legal to kill people, would you do it?
@rtenews Damage control time for Bertie & FF.
This is everything wrong with Irish politics: No conscience, no beliefs, no convictions.
Just follow whichever way the wind blows.
Do you think his opinion has actually changed? Or is this just a perverse humiliation ritual on behalf of FF
@pureMetatron Someone is still at the “this isn't happening” stage of justification, I see…
…How long before she makes the “it IS woke, and here is why it's a good thing” argument?
https://t.co/HSYcUh7OLD
Step 1: It's not really happening
Step 2: Yeah, it's happening, but it's not a big deal
Step 3: It's a good thing, actually
Step 4: People freaking out about it are the real problem
@Default69202648@Niall_Boylan Are you actually claiming that some in a radio chat show is the reason why we have a low birth rate in Ireland?
Because that is the most unhinged take I’ve ever heard.
Not the housing crisis, cost of living, the commodification of relationships…No, it’s Niall Boylans fault.
@CorkTruckDriver I think that’s a bit harsh. The place IS dreary now, but the way of life from your picture is gone. Same’s true of Moore Street in Dublin.
They should revamp the area & have frequent farmers, antique, flea markets, etc… throughout the year.
Keep the remaining Shawlies too.
@rtenews Her personal life is also “entangled” with the flotilla to Gaza - her sister was detained for being part of it.
I feel like we’re going to get a lot of Connolly’s personal entanglements as part of her presidency over the next 7 years.
