I’ve started appreciating days where nothing dramatic happens. no bad news, no stressful interactions, no overwhelming thoughts. just a normal, quiet day where everything is calm. those are the days that actually feel like rest.

Many of us went to diverse schools where everyone basically got along. Sure, jokes were made & bad people existed, but there was a general code of respect.
Social media + rage bait ruined that
every time you replace “this is hard” with “what’s the first step?” you shift brain activity from your amygdala (fear) to your prefrontal cortex (problem-solving).
that’s neuroplasticity in real time.
