If we're going to believe that hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people were killed by American budget cuts - ones that can easily be reversed by the next Democrat president - how are we ever going to be able to reduce spending on anything?
Seriously, anyone can release a study that makes such absurd claims based on extrapolating barebones evidence. It's the climate change BS playbook all over again. Make outrageous predictions of future doom that can only be fixed by your preferred leftist policies, then completely ignore when they never actually materialize.
But two can play at that game. I can guarantee you that we could find a result that says even more people would die if we cut defense spending, but I'm pretty sure that most of the people pushing this spurious idea that DOGE cuts have doomed millions to the grave would argue against that.
The moral of the story here is to not allow people who very clearly have ulterior motives to drive policy based on extrapolating from flawed modeling assumptions. Because as we've seen with a whole lot of modern "science," much of this modeling is bogus garbage.
(Billionaires are trying to buy the election by supporting Graham Platner. His campaign manager Ben Chin is an operative with the Maine People’s Alliance, a Arabella Advisors group funded by billionaires like George Soros, Pierre Omidyar, and Hansorg Wyss.)
My love for this country doesn’t fluctuate based on who occupies the White House, whether I voted for them or not.
If your patriotism is contingent on election results, you’re lame and unpatriotic.
Watching these cosplaying revolutionaries realize laws actually do apply to them outside of Portland has been fairly entertaining.
“Wait, you mean I can’t plot to murder federal agents and attempt to destroy evidence in the aftermath?!”
Oh, is that what the case was about? The Court convened, and the justices were asked whether they liked “big business” or those with “cancer,” and seven of the nine chose “big business”? Or was it about FIFRA’s preemption clause? The press’s coverage of the law is a disaster.
She wants to abolish the police, celebrated the October 7th attacks, is a communist, and openly states her hatred for the United States.
She’s not a one-off or fluke either. This is the new Democratic Party.
It only gets worse from here.
FWIW, if a business did anything like this to Ilhan Omar or pretty much anyone else who codes as pro-Palestinian, it would be reported and opined about as a sign of the terrifying rise of Islamophobia by all the respectable journalistic outlets. etc.
Keir Starmer was an awful prime minister. But the core problem isn't him or the "system"; it's the British public, which refuses to correct course despite their demands having yielded disastrous results for nearly two decades. https://t.co/NhPXejkzwG
