@LouStagner Renovating doesn’t mean lengthening or requiring more property. I don’t think everyone is up in arms on clubs spending money (they’re rolling in it right now), I think some truly care about sustainability which doesn’t work when having to buy more property to lengthen courses
@AustinWilhelm34@DoogidGolf@LouStagner It’s also all relative right, does it matter that you drive it X number of yards or that you out drive your buddy for most people? It will create a slightly more challenging round but also more how it was intended. We weren’t meant to hit wedge for every approach shot
@MJ_Pearson29 @LouStagner I guess my point, whether valid or not because I don’t have any idea until the new balls exist either, is that the pros will suffer more from this than people with slower swing speeds. The USGA is regulating at higher speeds and I doubt anyone knows how that affects the masses
@LouStagner Not to mention that we could’ve had bifurcation, but to Rory’s point the pros and golf equipment companies shut that down so who should we be directing this anger at?
@LouStagner Do you have data on what fraction of distance will even be lost for lower handicappers with slow swing speeds? Not many dudes are out there swinging 120+ mph. Feels like a big hooblah about nothing
