@VoralFr@toryumisu iirc, Nojiko wasnโt aware of Namiโs goal of saving a ton of treasure to buy the freedom of the island from Arlong, and only finds out once the marines come to take the treasure. thus they had a strained relationship because Nojiko thought Nami was willingly working for Arlong
i get that the decor bundles are ridiculously priced but iโm baffled by the people who seem to have zero idea what actually influences decisions made by devs on this feature. deadass saw someone going โoh theyโre increasing the exterior building limit to make us buy bundles!โ
we unfortunately live in a capitalistic system and have to navigate within its bounds to produce better things for players in spite of it. itโs just silly to see people who have no plan to interact with housing also be the ones this ideologically opposed to its monetization
@vapewizard89@warcraftstats and a sizable portion of those cosmetics still fit the standard wow fantasy. you fell hook line and sinker for the monthly cycle of
>trading post refresh
>cherry pick a couple items
>post โomg wow is all rainbows unicorns nowโ
>farm engagement
>brainless chud believes the bait
@vapewizard89@warcraftstats in fact the very set the Diablo one is based on within the last couple years got a new uprezzed look and 2 additional color tints. youโre instead focused on a handful of items on the monthly cosmetic shop meant to diversify aesthetics so thereโs more player choice
@sydragosa because it usually means the thing iโm doing in game isnโt something i have to put much thought in to, meaning thereโs a part of my brain that wants something to think about or it gets bored, even if the part of my brain doing the mindless WoW thing is entertained
@sydragosa it helps in the sense that it feels like while iโm doing something in game i have all this unused brain power that WANTS to do something so itโs latching on to anything and pulling me every which way into decision paralysis, so i have to give it something different to focus on
all of these are things that are design philosophies (although vague) that he couldโve implemented when he was still there, but he claims he had no influence over that. okay then well letโs look at stuff you had influence over like Quality Assurance and- oh you fired them
guy stuck in 2008 gives the most vague nothingburger about what he wouldโve done with the game and wonders why people are ecstatic he has no control over the game anymore
Few things:
A WoW that is about WAR - conflict, struggle, risk, reward, achievement. This is what WoW is all about.
"There must always be a Lich King." I wanted an expansion to go back and talk about how there is always a Lich King and take that story much further. So much more to be told here!
Spending far more time on raids and new ideas for the CORE gaming audience vs. the casuals.
And finally, WoW 2 instead of the same WoW 1 expansions over and over re-skinned.
For 10 or so years, just don't have the team for that anymore. It's changed so much since the Kaplan/others days.
which would make sense with how each statement reads like an AI constructing ideas that would sound good to other people who stopped playing over a decade ago instead of what sounds good to the โcore audienceโ he refers to. the non-ironic โJust do WoW 2โ is just the cherry on top
@_Jackierman_@FelrynX@Tha_gregg90 i have a very strong hunch that his warlock being in poverty gear means that the necklace was an Ilvl upgrade and so the game wouldnโt have let him trade it anyway
