Strengthening FLWs capacities to address #EarlyGrowthFaltering through focused training on malnutrition identification, growth monitoring, breastfeeding assessment, high-risk nutrition management, and early intervention strategies.
One-day Early Growth Faltering training was conducted for FLWs. Through practical demonstrations & interactive discussions, participants strengthened their understanding of malnutrition identification, growth monitoring, MCP card plotting, breastfeeding assessment, & counseling.
A 2.5-day PF Team BPM Summit was organized, aligning teams on performance and pipeline. FY25 activities were reviewed, and a strategic roadmap till Oct 2026 was set. UNICEF-led training strengthened EGF monitoring at the field level.
The first 5 years define lifelong health & learning. To strengthen early growth monitoring, our team with ICDS Gorakhpur led “Aao Poshan Ki Baatein Karen”, educating families on MCP Cards and growth categories — “हरा है तो भरा है, पीला है तो ढीला है, लाल है तो काल है.” #CMAM

1-day training conducted for FLWs on Early Growth Faltering, focusing on early identification & management of malnutrition, growth monitoring, MCP card plotting, & practical breastfeeding assessment through hands-on demonstrations to strengthen community-level nutrition outcomes.
A focused, high-impact training with hands-on demos on maternal & child nutrition, malnutrition management, growth monitoring, MCP card plotting, and breastfeeding practices. Myths addressed with evidence-based guidance. Participants: 16 AWWs, 15 ASHAs, 3 ANMs.

A comprehensive orientation session on the EGF concept was conducted for FLWs, including ANMs, ASHAs, & ASHA Sanginis, with a focus on strengthening early identification of growth faltering, timely referral mechanisms, & coordinated action to improve child nutrition.
A Maternal, Infant & Child Nutrition community awareness drive engaged over 170 villagers through IEC demonstrations, role plays, displays of locally available nutritious foods. The initiative reinforced the link between nutrition awareness & long-term community health outcomes.
A focused one-day training for FLWs on Early Growth Faltering strengthened on-ground capacity to identify, assess, & manage malnutrition. Emphasis was placed on early detection, breastfeeding practices, growth monitoring, & high-risk child care through practical demonstrations.
Godbharai (baby shower) ceremony was organized to promote maternal nutrition, antenatal care, & early childhood health. The event created a supportive platform to engage expectant mothers, reinforce positive nutrition and health practices, and strengthen community participation.
A one-day training on Early Growth Faltering was conducted for ANMs, ASHAs & AWWs at AWC. Focus areas included early malnutrition identification (0–6 months), growth monitoring, and hands-on breastfeeding demonstrations.
