At 17, I got a job at Xlimit Studios. I started out as a cleaner of the space, and running errands for the owner Kobbie, and artists whoโd come work here. Over time I was managing the studio. This is where I learnt how to make beats and record folks. I had to be around music somehow and still earn a living and this was the way for me. Shaker in the cut.

Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur has accused his former record label, Ground Up Chale, and its Chief Executive Officer, Glen Boateng, of demanding US$150,000 and unlawfully claiming ownership of his image and musical works, despite the absence of any professional relationship since the Son of Jacob album era.
He further alleges that he has received no financial returns from his music catalogue and has been subjected to persistent threats. Kwesi Arthur has warned that should any harm come to him, responsibility should be attributed to Glen Boateng and Ground Up Chale.
A special moment to end the year on. I carry on with the same passion, commitment and hunger as always to reach my goals.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me this year!
