The most evil thing about this particular case of anarcho-tyranny is the betrayal by the police.

Clearly there was unwritten common understanding by all parties for a very long time that the law was not strictly enforced here (as at most colleges). For the cops to unilaterally decide to change that with a huge embarrassing stunt on national tv, instead of doing what is arguably their duty to announce changes in enforcement for the constructive good of the community, is abusive.
