Twitter is a privilege no one should afford to lose!
In the 90s - 2010 the opportunities we have access to are the ones within your vicinity, so people join social clubs, associations etc so they can meet opportunities.
But since the advent of social media - it breaks the barrier of locational opportunities, you have access to the world. It gives endless possibilities.
But why do we have this opportunity & young people misuse it?
Why can't we take this opportunity and convert it to value, livelihood & sustainable self fulfillment?
Over the weekend I posted about cows living a good life, and I responded to a comment that Nigeria's beef quality is below European beef bcs cows are emotional & when you treat them below a level their carcass quality dips.
A young guy came from nowhere & called me dûmb,& fuulish. I checked his profile and I saw he's one of those that begs for giveaway, he is begging for a free product mgt course. But the person he called dumb and fuulish belongs to a company with some of the best product managers in Nigeria.
I can link him up for free training and ask that he be retained for employment. But he's lost that chance. Why are youths using this great platform to their own detriment?
Why insû|t a stranger? Why are we so emotional about everything? politics na drag, football drag, religion drag, gender drag, music drag, lifestyle drag.
The thing is people are noticing your posts, comments & online presence. We don't even know where our help will come from but do we place ourselves perfectly for those opportunities?
Food for thought!
Have you heard of the new Printed Egg Shell 🥚 technology?
Farmers can now print eggs and hatch their chicks through it.
If your hen crack her eggs, just print another egg shell and transfer the embryo. Lobatan!
Isn't this beautiful 😍😍😍

Many Nigerians especially celebs are focused on the Oyo State k'dnap case, forgetting to call-out the govt on other issues. While the insecurity crisis tops the list, let's not ignore other pressing challenges like the price hike on literally everything now.
Hold these politicians accountable for everything, all at once.
Bandits keep on attacking our Army Base, it's becoming more and more rampant now; Damaging properties and leading to loss of lives. But still, the Nigerian govt continues to make excuses for the rehabilitation of these monzters with the Operation Safe Corridor.
Absolutely pathet'c.
The "Sharia Law" demand from the bandits involved in the Oyo State abduction case is very questionable; Don't you think this is suspicious? There have been religious debates in this country for months now, with the insecurity crisis worsening the issue and creating division amongst us thru propagandas and all sorts of agendas.
I refuse to believe that those culprits will use this as a bargaining chip, something about this seems too scripted or forced, more like politically motivated to further push a narrative and fuel the divsison.
If this was the case why then is the insecurity crisis also affecting Muslims in large numbers? Even during the last holidays many lost their lives right after prayers. These bandits can't be figthing for Islam and still be attacking Muslim communities. Something is off. We can argue and disagree on religious conversations, call-out what is wrong when necessary, but the one thing everyone should do is to not feed into propaganda.
That said, hold the govts accountable for all we are going thru.
All terrorists/bandits/kidnappers should be sent to the great beyond as soon as they're captured. All sympathizers of terrorists/bandits/kidnappers should get nothing less than 10 years imprisonment.
Another set of killings and kidnappings in Kwara. The ones in Oyo are yet to be rescued.
A government that can’t protect its people is a failed government. This government is a failed one!

These killings have become too many, too painful, and too unbearable.
Why are we still trapped in this nightmare? When exactly is this horror going to end?
This is why many of us continue to insist that there is nothing like a “repentant terrorist” when justice has not been served. Repentance is between the criminal and his Lord. The responsibility of the state is justice, protection, and deterrence.
Terrorists, bandits, and mass murderers who destroy innocent lives and communities must face the full weight of the law publicly, firmly, and without delay. Weak responses only embolden evil and prolong the suffering of innocent citizens.
@officialABAT, you asked for the mantle of leadership and repeatedly told Nigerians not to pity you because you asked for this responsibility. We continue to pray sincerely for your success because the success of your administration is tied to the peace and stability of the nation. But Nigerians deserve better. No human being deserves these horrors.
Governors, legislators, local authorities, and all representatives across the country must also be held accountable. Security is the first duty of government. Citizens should constantly demand action, seriousness, and results from those elected to serve them.
There is little meaning in democracy if people cannot sleep safely in their homes, travel safely on the roads, or farm safely on their lands. At moments like this, politicians should show restraint, humility, and deep reflection rather than premature celebration and endless campaigns.
May Allāh protect the innocent, comfort the bereaved, heal the wounded, strengthen the security personnel sincerely fighting for peace, and save Nigeria from further bloodshed and destruction. Āmīn.
The spreading shadow of violence across Nigeria has breached the borders of the South West, turning a once stable region into a landscape of fear. From the harrowing mass abduction and tragic killing of an educator in Oyo State to the increasingly perilous highways of Ekiti, Ondo, and Ogun, the normalization of terror is taking root. This security collapse raises serious questions, especially since the Amotekun Commanders across the South West collectively maintained in 2025 that the region's forests would never be allowed to serve as permanent hideouts or bases for criminals, also South West Governor's forum stated that there was "no empirical evidence of bandits in the South West, but security measures are being strengthened to prevent any incidents". How then did heavily armed bandits penetrate these heavily guarded corridors so deeply, rendering our spaces entirely unsafe for everyday citizens?
To the Executive Governors of the region, the title of "Chief Security Officer" must cease to be a mere protocol ornament. You are the Number One Citizens of your states, bound by a sacred constitutional covenant to protect the lives and livelihoods of your people. Standard press releases of condemnation and reactive condolences are no longer acceptable, we need actions. When citizens cannot farm, travel, or send their children to school without the looming threat of death, the fundamental contract between the government and the governed is entirely broken.
True leadership demands immediate, proactive coordination. Governors must take absolute charge of their internal security by sitting down with their state Commissioners of Police (CP) to directly engage the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and open up every other necessary channel. It is time to enforce a unified front where the police, military, local security outfits, and indigenous intelligence networks seamlessly come together to systematically secure our forests from external forces. History will judge your tenures not by the infrastructure you build, but by how fiercely and effectively you unite these forces to defend the human lives meant to utilize them.
This is highly unfortunate. This is someone’s Mother and Wife. She went to work only to find herself in the forest because those saddled with the responsibility of protecting lives and properties will rather play politics.
