So due to the virus/isolation order, I caved in and downloaded Pokémon Go.
Guess what the first thing I caught was.
Took three tries.
But he’s mine.
And yes, I absolutely HAD to name him that.
Duh.
Tomorrow we walk.
Better late than never.
To the ones from my past, to the ones I’m blessed with now, and to anyone else I’ve had the honor of knowing on here.
I wish you all the happiest of New Years.
May it be the one you conquer.

Much like with most things in life, certain emotions have a way of showing up right when it’ll have the biggest impact.
When it rains, it pours.
What a day.

@Nyxkazam@APretendDragon Which is where the true problem lies. Being unaware or too late brings this whole thing back to my original point.
Be aware. Don’t wait on replies or messages. With these issues, time is one of the most critical aspects. Two days without a response could be far too late.
@Nyxkazam@APretendDragon And guess what? He DID ask for help. You just didn’t read it that way. When someone posts things like “I’m sick of life” that’s a clear indication that they want help and support.
There’s a lot more in a message than you might initially think.
@Nyxkazam@APretendDragon Yeah, see that’s part of the problem with this kinda stuff-people always say “oh they can always reach out to me if they need help”.
A lot of people don’t understand just how difficult and embarrassing it is to ask for help when you’re suffering from this kind of condition.
Whether it be a friend in real life, or someone you’ve never met online.
Everyone deserves to have a support system with this stuff.
Be the help you say you want in this world.
Otherwise you’re a disappointment.
This happens everyday, all over the planet. It won’t ever truly stop, but if you’re gonna advocate being aware and helpful towards preventing it, then do it.
Don’t just say it.
Take action.
Everyone always talks about suicide prevention, or mental health awareness, help with depression and this and that.
But when someone actually types it out and broadcasts it online, they’re ignored.
That shit ain’t right.
Disappointing.
That’s what some of y’all are.
I am too, in some ways.
But this kind of disappointing is specific and direct.
Why, you might ask?
I’ll show you.
