Lots of positives last night for Makai Lemon. Just a tough, rugged young wideout that stepped up with the opportunity given.
His first TD was the epitome of who he is. 🗣️⤵️
Prior to yesterday’s game, I dove into the 2027 edge class and highlighted four pass rushers who could be a fit in Philly.
After MNF, despite the talent already in the room, adding more juice off the edge could be a must.

Early thoughts from the tape.
Good:
• Makai Lemon — and there were chances for more. I thought he battled his tail off and did an excellent job with increased volume.
• Saquon Barkley — electric when he’s available, a shame to see him get banged up again.
Bad:
A lot, but the defensive run game tape as a whole was abysmal. Safeties are slow to the alley, tackling looks optional from down-to-down, DL/LBs couldn’t get off blocks and were blown off the ball. It was a group outside of really Baun/Mitchell/Trotter that looked completely uninspired in what was the biggest game of 2026 thus far.
Top of the screen — sudden & explosive release and route from Makai Lemon on what was his final catch of the night. Tough after the catch, as well.
Ballplayer.
The Eagles had 30 pass rush opportunities tonight.
They were credited with a grand total of four pressures as a team, led by Arnold Ebiketie who had two.
Ugly, ugly night for Vic Fangio's group.
The absence of Nolan Smith has been felt tonight against the run. Arnold Ebiketie is a situational pass-rusher and he's been on the field for 33 snaps already.
The interior hasn't been good either, but Ebiketie has been washed out of plays on multiple occasions, as has Jihaad Campbell.
As the Panthers did last week with Tet McMillan in the slot, Dallas got a big body, elite WR on Drew Mukuba in a 1-1 opportunity there with George Pickens.
Teams watch tape.
I know Dallas' defense has struggled all year, but in the best way this offense is completely unrecognizable.
The stretch run game is there, and they've showed some power looks behind Mailata/Dickerson. More shotgun, and increased stacks/bunches/pre-snap movement from all eligibles (RBs/TEs/WRs). Execution in the red zone as well. Very good stuff from Sean Mannion.
Saquon Barkley’s likely return is good news, but I want to see increased variety in terms of volume and touches tonight against Dallas.
Some thoughts on 26, Josh Grizzard’s role, and more.⤵️
Total pressures (sacks/hits/hurries) from Abdul Carter in his last four starts:
• vs ARI: 7
• @ WSH: 6
• vs NO: 5
• Today @ HOU: 8
He’s become an unstoppable presence up front for New York.
The following NFL teams are in attendance for No. 7 Ole Miss @ No. 19 Texas:
• Bucs (x4 including GM Jason Licht)
• Patriots (x2)
• Steelers (x2)
• Commanders
• Seahawks
• Chiefs
• Raiders
• Jaguars
• Dolphins
The Eagles’ offensive collapse goes far beyond the QB position. From schematic limitations to a non-existent run game and a failure to adjust, the Eagles have no easy answers.
What’s gone wrong and how did it get to this point?

Commanders spread it out and allowed Jayden Daniels to win with his arm/legs down the field the entire 2nd half but run a draw to Jeremy McNichols on 3-3 in the red zone, taking the ball out of their best players hands when it mattered most.
Head scratcher.
