There was no reason for Gabe to go home over Caleb and no reason for Jen to be staying over Sol. This season’s cast somehow more unlikable than last season and that’s impressive.
Many rival scouts have pointed to Julius Randle being packaged with Donte DiVincenzo and the 28th pick for an established All-Star-like talent to pair with Anthony Edwards, per @BrettSiegelNBA

Less than a week ‘til the draft and the Lakers haven’t hired the assistant GM who would be focused on… the draft.
They’ve had weeks. This is pretty disappointing.
Dylan Harper is 100% forcing his way out if he isn't a starter next year and if the Spurs do the 3 guard lineup of Fox-Harper-Castle to satisfy both Harper and Fox we aint winning shit anyways lol
We also gotta stop this nonsense. Shit is bout to get ugly. Owners bout to use this shit against players getting their worth because of a shitty CBA deal.
I keep seeing people say more star players should be like Brunson with leaving money on the table to help facilitate winning. The Knicks are basically run by people that are like family to him. Brunson’s godfather is the GM. Brunson’s godfather’s son is his agent. There’s a level of trust there that typically does not exist! Brunson knows the Knicks are going to eventually take care of him no matter where his game is at when he’s extension eligible again. He also knows they are going to use the savings to actually try to win. Could most players trust teams to do that? HELL NO!
Lastly, winning and being a star on the Knicks comes with lifelong ancillary benefits that make the swing worthwhile.
Basically, Brunson didn’t take much of a risk. It was admirable to do, because he did not have to do it…but we shouldn’t act like it’s the same situation every star is faced with. Teams will turn on guys in a heartbeat, no matter what they’ve done for them in the past.
Shoutout Jalen Brunson but Bill Simmons calling him a Top 50 player in NBA history is just ridiculous. He will be 30 years old by the start of next season and has only made an All-Star team 3 times.
No, I am not fun at parties. Stop it.
Gotta be honest, this @ufc event at the White House looks spectacular. This is a big time show. I’m not there, and we all know all the complaints folks had about renovations at and around the White House, etc, but — to be fair — this is some impressive stuff I’m looking at. Props to UFC President @danawhite and the show they’ve put on. It’s Bigtime. Plain and simple!!!
