#sculptober Day 4 - "Wild" West
I sculpted a Sheriff, and would have spent more time figuring out how to do folds and other fun bits, but got to keep the momentum going for Day 5!

Hey! Still out here making games. Just released my #GDevelop game jam entry for the "Unstable" theme, built using @GDevelopApp.
Play & rate it here: https://t.co/qkIYcar53M
Playable on both Mobile and PC.
The concept was made in 3 days, still fun to learn the engine! #gamedev
@atheistsw@tapgiles Every engine I've tried has limitations and is designed in strange ways, doesn't do what I want. Dreams trained me for this, and I know there's always a trick to bypass whatever limitation Unity or GDevelop has. We at least got this "Let's Dreamshack this limitation" attitude :D
@Genesis8012@EntropyTamed GDevelop is fun, I've enjoyed using it, you have to really explore the extensions for it because out of the box is quite limited. The editor is kinda weird at times, it has a lot of small "why does it work like this" moments you have to live with. Check https://t.co/uhxQpt3kct
@Visible85233886 When you sculpt with moves you can change the percentage of how much blend you want it even tells you the % value. When sculpting with DS4 you have some spheres that fill up and down with no % and precision at all.
@Arguise@Jovannicon The devs are probably like us when we got Dreams on PS5 and went overkill with every effect because the FPS doesn't drop anymore🤣 This game definitely started as a tech demo and it was one of the first games to be shown during the PS5 events.
@3kycat@BRobo82@TomDent_ It never crashed for me, finished the game and the only issue was audio logs stop working sometimes and you have to reload the checkpoint. I've used both Fidelity and Performance mode.
@Intrattackout The way VR works in dreams is still mind-blowing, giving us access to make VR games is amazing. But having to figure out so many workarounds to replicate basic features with the expected user experience from other VR titles. Is not something I can dedicate my free time for.
@mediamolecule The scale tool needs some love. You can't interact with the sculpt with it on top and I want to use it as a guide not hide it. It supports millimeters not just meters but only if you manually input them which is not explained So maybe a guide for the best workflow with it.
