My compass feels broken a lot in this messy, mass flow of this little life more than not. But these moments? Truly make me proud and content, to reflect back to and on. Maybe the purpose of things really arenโt always as lost as we sometimes hone focus on.
How sweet of a feeling it is to be in a new home, new vehicle, new job position, and most of all, a new, improved head space on this very day, compared to a year ago. Shedding old hurt/pain, baggage, and over all just outdated stages of life and spaces canโt be beat.
One day you'll meet a guy who tells you how his ex cheated on him, how she broke his heart, how he can't trust anyone anymore. He'll sound wounded, soft, and sincere, and you'll feel sorry for him. You'll want to prove that you're different, that not all women leave or lie.
But My advice is? Run. It's a trap. Because most of the time he's not healed he's just carrying unprocessed pain, anger, and trust issues. And instead of fixing them, he'll slowly make you pay for what another woman did to him.
You can spend so much time trying to give someone everything just for the universe to come sweep in to show you why they didnโt have it to begin with.
