This is the correct approach. You can’t allow the sport to continue with a school willing to field players who are placing wagers on their own team.

My No. 1 worry about the future of CFB is the end of the regular season becoming like the NFL, where so many games have minimal stakes.

The motivation of rivalries, CFP qualification and bowl-eligiblity must be protected. If it's only about the CFP, so much drama goes away.
