Delap 6.5m (if he’s our main #9)
Kroupi at 4.5m (22 goals and 2 assists last season in the league)
Kostoulas 5m (very highly regarded in Greece from what i’ve read)
Acheampong 4m (only if he gets a PL loan which was linked to Palace)
Humphreys 4m (was very good last season before injury and got a fair amount of goals and assists from Winter and plays anywhere along the backline)

[WATCH] Wayne Duvenage, CEO of the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse, says President Cyril Ramaphosa has the right to place Police Minister Senzo Mchunu on special leave, as it buys him some time. Duvenage adds that the commission of inquiry is necessary but should not drag on.
Teams and players to consider strictly for the next 3GWs ✅
1. Arsenal : Saka, Saliba, Raya, Merino
2. Aston villa : Watkins, Rogers, asensio, Rogers, Konsa, Emi
3. Chelsea : No one as such but would keep palmer
4. Crystal palace : Mateta, Munoz, Sarr, Eze, Mitchell, Henderson
5. Liverpool : Salah, Alisson, Bradley
6. Man city : Marmoush, Gvardiol, Savinho, Foden
7. Newcastle United : Isak, Gordon, Murphy, Burn, Livra, Pope
Teams that will DGW in GW33 and blank in 34 : ARS, CRY, AVL, MCI
If I was Wildcarding in GW30 here are my Top 10 essential players.
1. Salah - Record breaking season, decent fixtures and nothing else to play for.
2. Haaland - Good fixtures, good mins and probably a DGW33 as well as Leicester in GW30.
3. Isak - Great fixtures, talisman and DGW32
4. Mateta - Great fixtures, talismanic, DGW32 and Southampton in GW30
5. Munoz - The best defender pick in the game. So attacking + great fixtures and DGW32
6. Sarr - Finding his feet now and getting attacking returns. Cheap option + DGW32
7. Burn - Offers attacking threat for a Newcastle team that are getting better defensively. Also DGW32
8. Gabriel - Arsenal are the best defence in the league and Gabriel looks most secure. Possible DGW33
9. Semenyo - Great stats and mins in the Bournemouth midfield. Should start getting returns to match his output
10. Verbruggen - Brighton have turned a corner defensively and have some lovely fixtures on the horizon with a possible DGW33.
I do currently own all of these players, so don’t let that put you off. They’re my Top 10 for those on Wildcard.
You are very welcome.
The ceiling for Double Gameweeks is lower this season than it has been in previous seasons, so you should lower your expectations for TC and BB.
There will probably only be three DGWs (24, 33 and 36).
If you have all of your chips left then you should aim to use TC, AM & BB in the DGWs and use FH in a Blank GW (29 or 34)
I have all my chips left and I already have 3 Liverpool players so I’m firmly in the TC24 camp (barring a DGW25 provisional announcement).
I’ll decide on the rest of my chips later:
In GW25 (after FA Cup R4 and EFL Cup SFs), I’ll start to lean towards either FH29 or WC 30/31.
In GW28 (after FA Cup R5), I’ll commit to FH29 or WC 30/31.
I’ll decide on the rest of my chips when DGW33 is announced in GW 30/31
- the FA Cup QFs will determine the GW34 Blanks two days before the GW30 deadline
- DGW33 will be announced either shortly before or shortly after the GW30 deadline
My likely chip strategy is to Triple Captain Salah in GW24 and decide when to play the rest of my chips in GW30 - either (WC30, AM 31-33, FH34, BB36) or (WC31, BB33, FH34, AM 36-38)
But I'd probably AM in GW24 if DGW25 is provisionally announced.
I'm no longer sure which will be the bigger DGW out of GW 33/36
As of 7:30 PM on January 3, 2025, in Pretoria, South Africa, the waxing crescent Moon is positioned near Venus in the southwestern sky. Venus, often referred to as the “Evening Star” due to its brightness, appears close to the Moon during this time.
Additionally, Saturn is located above the Moon and Venus, forming a celestial trio. This alignment offers a beautiful sight in the evening sky.
To observe this conjunction, look towards the southwest shortly after sunset. Venus will be the brightest object near the Moon, with Saturn appearing as a moderately bright “star” above them. This event provides an excellent opportunity for skywatching, even without the use of telescopes or binoculars.
Enjoy the view!
