Bloom over doom.
AI is doing something genuinely radical: it’s democratizing capability like never before.
You no longer need a huge team, elite credentials, or permission from some gatekeeper to build, code, design, research, learn, or create something ambitious.
Despite this, a lot of the loudest AI discourse is obsessed with hypothetical catastrophe and asking everyone to slow down, lock things down, and surrender progress because something ***might*** go wrong someday.
Deal with real harms.
Build safeguards.
Punish abuse.
But don’t kneecap one of the greatest expansions of human capability we’ve ever seen because of paranoia dressed up as certainty.
Let it bloom.
the ANTI-DOOMER non-movement is now official.

@iAmHenryMascot@NousResearch So imagine this:
Hermes is stuck on a hard problem and needs a... No way... A better model??? To solve the issue??? How can that be? Blasphemy
The problem is not AI art itself.
It's scammer selling AI art as hand drawn art. And there's a TON of them right here, on this website.
Most of these scammers are blending in.
Until we find a valid solution to these scams (that is not watermarking) AI art should be treated with caution.
