I've literally said on multiple separate occasions that I'd personally go out of my way and do everything in my power to help market a 3rd party Dreamcast controller should someone actually step up and go the extra mile to correct the most egregious (and only major) mistake Sega ever made with the Dreamcast: the lack of a second analog stick on its controllers.
So here we are... Thank you, @YTNaiAdventure for actually stepping up and giving us what we've always asked for! I will be supporting your product, and I hope everyone else will do the same!
Just a brief recap on the second analog stick for Sega Dreamcast controllers:
1) Dual analogs were always supported by the Maple spec since day 1. Sega's fuck-up would've inevitably been fixed with later controller revisions, had it stayed in the 6th gen race.
2) Some games were released with dual analog support either in anticipation for such a controller or for supporting the "PantherDC" stick which advertised its twin axes as two analog sticks. Quake 3 Arena, and IIRC Unreal Tournament(?) were two such games.
3) The KallistiOS indie/homebrew SDK has always had support for dual analog sticks, and many of our homebrew releases, such as Grand Theft Auto 3/VC and Doom 64 already have full support for both axes.
Well Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 fans, someone has FINALLY done it... Now you can play Doom 64, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, and Star Fox 64 on the Sega Dreamcast... WITH AN ACTUAL NINTENDO 64 CONTROLLER!🔥
