A man would send his wife to Canada to study for years

He should spend in the tune of N30M to N100M depending on what course she studied and the number of years

She would later graduate and start working

She would thereafter acquire papers that would enable her to stay and then, she would start putting up plans to bring her husband and kids from Africa

Imagine what could have changed in an African woman who lived abroad without her husband for 4 to 5 years in a cold place like Canada.

The happiest day of their lives will be when the family arrives and gets united at the airport.

But from the second day, or at most, the second week, things would begin to spiral down in their relationship.

BUT WHY? :
-A woman who once enjoyed freedom for 4 years can no longer cope with the husband’s control and close monitoring.
-A woman who once talked freely on the phone with male classmates and work colleagues, even at 1:00am and late into the night can no longer do such things.
-A woman who makes $3000 to $6000 weekly and saves 70% can no longer save kobo—financial stress!!
-A woman who hardly visited the kitchen in four years, or at worst, visited at her own pace will now have to cook for hours daily
-A woman who freely goes on casual dates with friends (male and female) would now be totally grounded.
-A woman who left Africa with good knowledge, believes and understanding about how a true African woman should RESPECT, HONOUR, AND OBEY her AFRICAN man (husband) has now been totally fed with feminism and feminist theories that dominate and rule every space at work, in school and even in the church in this Western world where she has lived for nearly half a decade!!!

These and many others are the reasons why relationships/marriages crumble shortly after a man and his woman reunite abroad. It is safer for the relationship when every member of the family moves together at once, and stays together as a family.
