What a fantastic job The Sun has done on behalf of us all, outing Huw Edwards, ruining his reputation, his life and his health. I am sure he deserves it though just at the moment I can’t for the life of me think why. @thehuwedwards @TheSun
BBC utterly craven in their treatment of Lineker and suppression of Attenborough’s doc. Impartiality seems to equate with not criticising the Government.
@rcolvile That is a total misunderstanding of civil servant impartiality. Of course civil servants have personal views but they advise and serve politicians impartially. Johnson and Dorries are undermining our civil service to serve their own ends.
BREAKING: Jon Stewart just completely destroyed Republican State Senator Nathan Dahm of Oklahoma on gun reform in America. Each and every point that Dahm tried to address was completely debunked by Stewart. Stewart made Dahm look as foolish as he and his republican colleagues really are.
My favorite quote was: “In every other place your life you want to bring order, but guns are the outlier for you.”
Let all your republican friends see this video! https://t.co/qOlU187LHx
@Wynn_Wheldon You seemed to have won something when you scraped a draw at Stamford Bridge. Harry Kane counted it a victory. That was your flipping cup final.
As bidders made final presentations for Chelsea, Tuchel made his pitch for the successful group to keep Granovskaia and Cech ahead of what he expects to be difficult summer #CFC

There will be people all over the country with Alzheimer’s saying, “now what is that England player’s name? I wish it was written on his shirt.” #englandvsswitzerland
Tuchel on Lille game: "My last information is we have a plane and we can go by plane and come back by plane. If not we go by train, if not by bus, if not I will drive a seven-seater."
Arsene Wenger: "Always advise people who wanted to buy football clubs, instead of putting £100m in every year, put £500m the first year and buy the right players. Abramovich could do that and he did very well and today I think the club is managed very well and is at a top-level."
Very clever captain’s play by Azpilicueta. Held onto the ball and made Palmeiras think he was the pen taker, absorbed all their attempts to delay and get in his head, then gave the ball to Havertz #CFC
