It’s been a year since #BiggBossSeason 7.

Around this time last year right after the finale day, my friends, family, and Poo gave me a huge surprise.
a celebration I’ll never forget.
To my fans/friends - To this day I’m overwhelmed by the love you all have shown me. #MayaSquad, it’s been a year, and yet, nothing has changed.

Coming home to gifts left outside my house, handwritten letters, and seeing you all wait just to catch a glimpse of me outside my house or my show and wave hello. these are beautiful and meaningful memories for me. The edits, the messages, the emails. it’s all still there, unchanged.

I always believed this would fade away soon. Everything has an expiry date, but here you are, proving me wrong. You’re still here, still fighting my battles, still putting up with all my nonsense. I love you, #MayaSquad.

As I always say, the friendships from Bigg Boss are what truly remain. People often curiously ask me, “Are you all still friends?”
Most of the time to feed their curiosity I would reply, “No, we’re not friends anymore.” 😝

It’s absolutely incredible to grow alongside the friendships from the Bigg Boss house. After a certain point in life, finding new best friends is rare, and I’m so grateful for these bonds. They are my support system, always propelling me upward, showering me with love, and always being there for each other.

Bringing live theatre to places that don’t have access to it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. With plays like Kira kozhambhu, little prince and kindhan charithiram - We have had the honor of traveling to places where people don’t usually get the chance to watch performances in traditional venues but they have an equal hunger for stories, connection, and creativity.

Theatre has the power to inspire, heal, and educate. theatre is for everyone. it is meant to be shared.
