J’ai éclaté de rire en écoutant le raisonnement plat et ronronnant de Kagame sur les prétendues « terres rwandaises » données par les Blancs à la RDC. Rire amplifié par le fait que deux voisins tutsis me sortaient le week-end d’avant les mêmes balivernes autour d’un barbecue à Lagos (ça en dit long sur le caractère propagandiste de la folle revendication). Finalement, j’ai cédé à la tentation de le déconstruire (jeu d’enfant) :

1.L’entité politique actuelle connue sous le nom de République du Rwanda n’a pas d’existence avant janvier 1961 (proclamation de Gitarama lors du renversement de la monarchie). Son indépendance internationale n’intervient qu’en juillet 1962. Donc, quand le petit pays que Kagame dirige naît, le Grand Congo a déjà deux ans.

2.L’entité politique actuelle connue sous le nom de République du Rwanda adhère à l��OUA en 1963 et valide, comme tous les membres, le principe de l’intangibilité des frontières héritées de la colonisation en 1964. Principe repris par l’UA et revalidé par la même entité.

3.Le caractère lucratif des invasions de la RDC permet tous les alibis, même les plus farfelus : faire tomber Mobutu et aider à l’installation de la démocratie en 1996 (avec une présence militaire jusqu’à Kinshasa), renverser l’ancien allié devenu « dictateur » en 1998, protéger des populations d’origine rwandaise, défaire les FDLR/Ex-FAR (curieusement jamais défaits malgré une présence de l’armée rwandaise sur le territoire congolais dans la zone où ils seraient présents depuis 1996) et maintenant, toute honte bue, on parle de prétendus territoires précoloniaux. Certains sont nés avant la honte.

4.Au-delà de tout cela, il ignore certainement le fait que le petit royaume du Rwanda n’est pas la seule entité précoloniale reconnue sur cette zone et que, sur tout le continent, des royaumes et empires beaucoup plus vastes et plus puissants n’ont jamais donné lieu, post-colonisation, à de telles prétentions : la capitale du royaume Kongo, « San Salvador », aujourd’hui Mbanza-Kongo, est en Angola, dans la province du Zaïre (beau clin d’œil historique)… L’influence du royaume zoulou s’étend jusqu’au Zimbabwe (sud du Zambèze) par les Ndebele, descendants de Mzilikazi, général zoulou dissident ayant migré vers le nord avec ses troupes. La deuxième ville du Zimbabwe s’appelle Bulawayo en référence à la capitale du royaume zoulou (dans le Natal) à l’époque de Shaka (autre joli clin d’œil historique)… Cela sans que jamais la République d’Angola n’exprime de visée sur les terres du royaume Kongo (deux entités politiques distinctes) ou que la République sud-africaine n’ait de prétention sur le Zimbabwe au nom du royaume zoulou (deux entités politiques distinctes là encore)…
