Everything. Wallaahi, Allah is kinder to us than our mothers could ever be.
I was reminiscing life years back and I'm afraid I'm not grateful enough.
Brothers, look at life back a few years ago, we have come a long way. Allah has been kind to us beyond measures. Look away from the aspirations that haven't materialized yet for once.
يا ربنا لك الحمد كما ينبغي لجلال وجهك وعظيم سلطانك.
when you constantly look at what others own, tracking their blessings, what they buy, how they live...it can quickly make you a prisoner of worry and sadness.
worse still, it can lead to envy and resentment, driving you to compete with and imitate people whose financial means are far greater than yours. and in the process, you fall into debt and burden yourself with expenses you simply cannot afford!
every person in this life has been given a share of provision by Allāh: health, well-being, wealth, children, and countless other blessings. you may see only the outward favors others enjoy while forgetting that some of them are afflicted with serious trials from which Allāh has spared you.
remember Allāh's favors upon you, be happy for the good that others receive, and strive to improve your own situation.
We built a free tool that screens Nigerian stocks for Shariah compliance using AAOIFI standards.
You enter a stock like DANGCEM or MTNN and it tells you if it's halal, haram, or needs purification, with the full financial breakdown.
We would love people who invest in Nigerian stocks to test it and share their feedback before the public launch.

Life is full of trade-offs. Every choice has a cost. When you say yes to one thing, you say no to others. This is how the world works. It’s like gravity. You can’t escape it.
Opportunity cost is what you give up when you make a choice. It’s the thing you can’t have because you picked something else. Say you have a free evening. You can work on your startup or go to a movie. If you work, you miss the fun. If you go to the movie, you miss the chance to make progress.
Every choice has an opportunity cost because every time you say yes to something, you’re implicitly saying no to other things. You need to know your opportunity costs. This helps you make good trade-offs.
It’s not always easy, but being conscious of the trade-offs you’re making can help you make better decisions.
Wisdom is anticipating the consequences of your choices. In life and business, success is about making good trade-offs. It’s not about having it all. It’s about having what matters most. We all value different things. That’s what makes life rich.
One of my mentees just lost her job, and I feel obliged to share this here.
Many HR managers don't usually tell you this, but there are workplace traps that can quietly damage your career if you're not careful.
Bookmark this and read through very carefully:
O Allāh, were it not for You, I would never have been guided. Forgive me for where I fall short in fearing You, and make my feet firm upon Your path. I can never be independent of Your bounty.
So much we have, so much we ought to be grateful for, but our insatiable wants blinds us from seeing the numerous blessings and grace of our Lord.
Ya Allāh forgive us, shower us with Your Mercy, we are grateful for every thing, we are nothing without you. we beg you with your most beautiful names, grant us the best in this life and the hereafter.
Reunite us with our loved ones in Al Jannah, with your beloved Messenger ﷺ.
This is exactly why Islam strictly forbids Riba (Interest).
Look at this loan offer:
You borrow ₦540,000
You pay back ₦1,179,576
Interest alone: ₦639,576 (almost 120% of the original amount!)
In just 12 months, the lender takes more than the principal while you struggle to repay.
The Prophet said:
“Every loan that draws a benefit is Riba.”Islam does not hate loans.
It hates oppressive, exploitative loans that enslave people.
That’s why Islamic finance focuses on:
Profit-sharing
Trade & investment
Fairness and mercy
This kind of modern “easy loan” is exactly the riba Allah and His Messenger warned us against.
Save yourself and your family from financial slavery
