@DarboEatsParmo no my point is that even though that was years ago he stabilised the club and has kept it stable for 40 years. you’ve said yourself it’s losing money every year so to be challenging for promotion most years we aren’t in a bad spot at all and that’s not by accident
@DarboEatsParmo mate when that same owner took over we’d literally been locked out of our own stadium and it’s only because of him the club still exists. whether you like him or not you have to accept that without him we’d be in the same position as sheff wed or worse bury
@DarboEatsParmo as for the new financial rules we’ve been one of the best run clubs in the country in that sense for 40 years now and that’s not changing any time soon. 2 extra playoff places to play for from next season theres no reason we can’t be in them as a minimum
@DarboEatsParmo we were 2nd in the league nearly all season and what the result of that semi-final would’ve been had it been under normal circumstances no one will ever know andI’d argue that means we deserved to be there as much as anyone.
I’ve not seen a masterclass away in Europe this good since Roy Keane v Juventus
Totally adapted to the demands of ordering in a second language
The greatest to ever do it

Your own manager is so bad tactically he had to cheat every single week on opposition to find out what they were doing because he was so far out of his depth. What are we doing here
@TheStatsSaint we lost fair and square once and you won’t hear any boro fan say otherwise. fair play to hull the better team on the day and they didn’t need to cheat to win
Someone just sent me this - seen on the London Underground.
I once dreamed of a successful career at the Bar. Perhaps the occasional mention in the law reports, or even the Evening Standard. Respectability at last.
Never imagined it might involve appearing on a Middlesbrough fans’ Wembley banner somewhere on the Metropolitan Line…
Good luck today, Boro.
I like how Londoners get wound up that people from up north won’t go to one of their pubs to spend £7.50 on a pint while having to listen to Chuggsy talk about his wild night out with Tarquin where they drank IPAs on the local common
@tom7lawrence@Raysaintly@SaintsExtra he stepped back from the panel to not have any conflict of interest and also it wasn’t the efl who made the decision it was an independent panel. it was the EFL vs Southampton not Middlesbrough vs Southampton with the EFL as judge and jury
