Too many children are left with the lifelong impacts of experiencing domestic abuse, struggling to access the help they need.
These new insights from @FoundationsWW today are really welcome and mark a turning point in understanding how we can support child victims to recover.

Domestic abuse can have a horrific impact on children, which is why this is such an important announcement from Foundations today.
This is a vital step towards ensuring that parents and child victims get the support they need and deserve.

Yesterday I was on BBC Radio Scotland to discuss survey results that showed two thirds of girls changed their daily behaviour due to sexual harassment. A man then texted in to say that schoolgirls shouldn’t wear short skirts if they don’t want to be harassed. Unbelievable.
Quite the packed programme for our second year at party conference 👇
And we’ve got the whole new cast of Team DfE across our events, including a nice chat with @bphillipsonMP ✨
You won’t wanna miss us at #LPC25 🌹
This weekend, we’re heading to Liverpool for #Lab25, where we’ll be hosting sessions on children's social care, parenting & family support, and the importance of evidence-based policy and practice for children and families.

@John_Stepek@LouisaClarence A recent example is Family Group Conferences (FGCs) - originated in NZ, started being used over here, and were tested by @FoundationsWW to see if they reduced care entry and saved ££. They’re now a feature of the new Children’s Wellbeing & Schools Bill! https://t.co/UsMNdbNouL
