I would rather have it be OpenAI, Anthropic etc. hacking into companies on accident and establishing proper safeguards and innovating on the defensive aspects than this being six months from now when open weight is parity to the mythos/fable/gpt 6 class of models.

Not saying any of it is great, but this is unchartered terrority folks. Mistakes did and will continue to happen. It’s best we start figuring this out now.

We are seeing a new industry being born and that equals a new industry for looking at cybersecurity.

I appreciate the transparency from OpenAI and from HuggingFace.
