Despite my busy week, my heart kept reaching out to Lady Joy. I visited her few days ago and what I saw broke my heart. She is bedridden, unable to move or even use her crutches due to severe leg pain.
She has been due for a second surgery since last year, but the cost is ₦1 Million. The pain she is in is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
The Goal: 20 people giving ₦50,000 each will settle this.
Please help me tag anyone who can assist. If you want to verify, speak or do video call with her, please DM me for her number. Please retweet/share to help Joy walk on her feet again 🥲

I gave birth on the 2nd of April after a very difficult labor that lasted for 2 weeks and ended in a CS. Since that day, my life has not been the same. What was supposed to be a joyful moment has turned into a painful and frightening experience for me.

Physically Challenged Lagos Lawyer Recounts Journey from Street Begging to Legal Practice
Abdulsalam Idowu, a lawyer living with disability, has shared the story of his difficult journey to becoming a legal practitioner. According to him, he was not born crippled, but lost the use of his legs as a child after a severe malaria illness that lasted several days and worsened before he was eventually taken to the hospital.
Determined to get an education, Idowu said he resorted to begging on the streets from a young age to fund his schooling, travelling from his hometown to Lagos in search of alms before returning to continue his studies. Through years of persistence, he completed his education and eventually became a lawyer. Today, he is married with children and practices law, a testament to his resilience despite the challenges he faced growing up.
