I cannot consider people who flaunt and revel in acquiring related merchandise at exorbitant prices through the power of money, without any respect or love for Japanese manga culture, authors, or works, to be fellow manga enthusiasts or fans, and I utterly despise them. Manga is fundamentally a source of hope, dreams, and solace for children, and a cherished part of adults' memories and leisure activities in their lives. Let's assume, for argument's sake, that the act of satisfying one's desire for possession at a high price is a matter of personal freedom and cannot be interfered with. But is it necessary to upload it to social media to satisfy one's need for validation and cause a ripple effect on the market? This is an extremely despicable act. Can we please not target "Dragon Ball" or Japanese manga magazines as the next item to satisfy his need for validation?
Demon slayer has always been above JJK in terms of emotional moments and side characters. JJK cast just feels like npcs with very little buildup or memorable moments that just comment from the side for the sake of plot.
@pallai50998 Shinjuku showdown was the definition of mid. Was it hype? Yeah, but that’s really all it was. It was mostly ass pulls and pointless deaths which culminated into a mind numbing experience. Comparing it to Chimera ant and TYBW is an insult to those arcs.
