You can play the demo on Steam right now!
It’s one of those games that really sticks with you.
In terms of atmosphere it’s been quite inspiring for my own game too, and I really want him to be able to finish and share his work with the world.

My good friend @JasperCarmack has been developing a game in the Source Engine for the past 3 years, but can’t release it due to years of radio silence on Valve’s part, at the very last stage of approval.
Please spread the word, hopefully we can get @valvesoftware to see this.
An indie horror game called AMYGDALA: Prelude has been stuck waiting for Steam approval for 3 full years even though it uses Valve's own Source engine the same one behind Half-Life.
The team created this retro-style shooter set in 1990s Australia where players fight creepy monsters with guns and they reached out to Steam support back in 2023 to get the required commercial license right from the start.
They followed every instruction and sent all the paperwork but the replies come slowly often after months of silence and sometimes they are told to send the exact same details again.
The game is almost finished with a free demo already on Steam
@edmundmcmillen@GeneralGEEGA personally I prefer the dlc a lot more than the base game, it really ties it all together and feels more impactful emotionally
@bigpronoun Haven't announced it publicly yet! My plan is to reveal it this year (no release date), with the following all coming out at the same time:
- a short teaser trailer
- Steam page up for wishlisting
- the soundtrack as it is currently out on all streaming platforms
It really feels like I've been sitting on a mountain of gold for a few years now with my game's soundtrack, can't wait to release it... (way way better than my silly tracks I made for Lethal Company you know me for)
@TheMirzaBeig Hey, any updates on releasing the code for this? I'd really like to get this working with rain and snow in the game I'm working on. Sent you a message on Discord if you'd prefer to chat there.
I really want someone to make a spiritual successor to SCP: Containment Breach. I feel like after more than 10 years it still hasn't been topped as the definitive SCP experience. I'd just really like a new site with a completely new set of SCPs, none borrowed from CB.

I mostly need to work on the teaser trailer, full alpha soundtrack release and finish up the steam page for wishlists. I’ve essentially finished the alpha soundtrack sampler video, which is a little preview of a couple songs from the album with links to the full in the desc.

2025 has been the busiest year of my life but I’ve also made the most progress on my game this year. The differences from the start to the end of this year are night and day, I managed to fix every visual issue that had been plaguing the game since 2022 in the past few months

I’ve made lots of progress in the systems side of things, I just gotta concentrate on environments and enemies. Unfortunately the official announcement will have to be pushed back until next year. I’ve made significant progress towards it since my last post about it,
@smileysqueak releasing finished songs is overrated
upload a big compilation of your unfinished songs and maybe that will motivate you to continue some of them to completion
