I mean, like I said, I love these books, but it’s kinda hard to immerse myself in the story when they’re spelling the PROTAGONIST’S name incorrectly and there’s (non-purposeful) grammatical errors in a character’s sentence 😭🙏

I love the How To Eat Life novels, and of course I’m super grateful for the fact that there’s an official eng translation, but I’m pretty certain that the eng ver. didn’t have a proof-reader??? 😭

On page 154 of book 1, they spell “Tobi” as “Toby”. And on page 200 of book 2, Asamiya asks Monika, “Are you one of those people feels bad when the air pressure’s low?”
I’m fairly certain he meant to say “Are you one of those people WHO feels bad when the air pressure’s low?” 😭

@Tsukoi_ Also I don’t know if this is on purpose, (I assume it’s not since you’ve said you’re not caught up w/ HTEL) but Monika asking Tobi to pay her in buying her McDonald’s is SO funny bc in the 2nd HTEL novel she bought him a burger 😭 she wants payback lmaooo 😭🙏
