@moidecauca@Wicken_Chings@uncledoomer My guy, in Germany they don’t even rent with a kitchen. You install the kitchen on your own and take it with you. So please.
@Wicken_Chings@uncledoomer The private sector of course does have the flooring installed and everything. The landlord may or may not allow you to customize your flooring, and if they allow they may or may not contribute.
@Wicken_Chings@uncledoomer In NL there’s a social and private sector.
Housing associations (social sector) do this to keep baseline rent prices strictly controlled under the Dutch points system, avoid disputes over personal taste, and treat tenants as autonomous decorators of their own homes.
@mimodow93@Wicken_Chings@uncledoomer If they’re not paying for it it’ll be reflected in the rent price. Social housing is cheaper than private. They do the bare minimum to keep the rent as low as possible. You can do the rest.
@Wicken_Chings@uncledoomer I’m not Dutch but I’ve lived here all my life, and yes I’ve had that experience which is a stereotype but real.
But the flooring is not stingy. You pay for the flooring of your own choice, in your apartment, and take it with you when you’re done. Very simple.
@Wicken_Chings@uncledoomer You look at it with one view and limited information and are ready to judge. Educate yourself on the topic first and only then you can decide what’s right or wrong.

@Wicken_Chings@uncledoomer I’m not defending shit. I’m explaining the situation and how it works here. Just because something is different doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
@aksiksi@uncledoomer Yes but social housing sector doesn’t get that. The system works here in a different way. The apartment you get is yours forever as long as you’re renting so you customize it however you want. That’s why even the flooring is done by you.
@seeking2sc@omar_dddg Bilaad al Shaam retaining their culture and history after being conquered is the biggest contradiction to what you’re saying. Any cultural element that doesn’t go against Islam was never affected. Just because dancing isn’t allowed all of a sudden there’s no culture?
@seeking2sc@omar_dddg There’s a difference between the word رقص which is actually dancing and يلعبون بالحراب والدرق
The Hadith spoke of the latter.
Huge difference.
