@ClassicSwingX What do you feel starts the pause swing. Curious because obviously the wrong move is an arm pump to put inertia in. So what gives you inertia from the pause. This will be super helpful for me
Not at the top of the backswing. I need my knee flex to start the downswing. When I start my downswing that’s when it locks up and posts up and I flip down at the ball.
I can’t figure out how to send the message from my brain. It sounds stupid but I can be flexed at the top and then lock it as I start my downswing.
@EthanJonesGolf Wow I’ve been trying to keep it in the balls of my feet and never really letting my hip push back… this might really help. I find it super hard to use my legs to start downswing and just lock my right leg up and push off it
FWIW have a similar wrist injury can safely say however much you think you can “play through” the pain etc isnt true. Not only that with the nerve you can literally risk permanent nerve damage in that hand, he probably already has it.
He’s probably utterly frustrated with having to make the changes too
This is my issue I think. I handle drag and leave the face miles open because of it. Makes it super hard to square face. All I can do is basically hold it off and try and fade it.
If I don’t the balls mega push sliced.
Will give this a go. Will need to work on my pressure into less foot as I feel I’m either too early or late with this too. Will give it a go thanks for this.
@LarryRinker@RinkersGolfTips@PGATOUR Struggling with trying to get my hips clear and change my swing away from the high core you’re describing.
Larry what’s the best way to actually check what type of core I am? Am I chasing something I’ll never get too? I want that tour style fully open hips at release
