@tanpukunokami Respectfully, this is more than simply the ending of an era, it's a monopoly on perpetually renting and renewing a license on a game that, for all intents and purposes, you should own in perpetuity. If the server goes down or the key is revoked, you no longer own the game.

I don't know about "favorite", but one of the most recent ones that comes to mind is, obviously, The Punisher.
