"Hezbollah condemns the treacherous US–Israel aggression targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran, following months of Zionist and American threats aimed at subjugating Iran, forcing it to surrender, and depriving it of its natural and legitimate right to possess peaceful nuclear capabilities and to develop defensive missile capacities like other nations in the world.

This new aggression, which constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, continues the arrogance and tyranny exercised by the US administration and the criminal Zionist entity in our region, in a desperate attempt to destabilize it, subdue its peoples, and force them to accept domination and occupation schemes.

What is happening today, after the failure of the twelve-day war waged by the Israeli enemy with direct US involvement, confirms that the problem was never Iran’s nuclear program. Rather, it lies in rejecting the existence of a strong, self-reliant state in the region—one that maintains its sovereignty and independent national decision-making, preserves its wealth, develops its capacities, refuses to join the US dependency system, supports free and oppressed peoples worldwide, and stands as a barrier against Zionist-American schemes in the region. They want weak, exhausted entities that are easy to control and dominate, paving the way for their colonial and occupation plans.

This aggression will only make the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people stronger, more steadfast, and more committed to their legitimate rights. Iran has proven over decades of sanctions, threats, and attacks that it is a resilient, powerful state that cannot be subdued, supported by a proud population united in defending its dignity and sovereignty.

Hezbollah, while declaring its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership and its people, calls on the countries and peoples of the region to confront this aggressive plan and recognize its danger. Its severe consequences will affect everyone without exception if left unchecked.
