Doctors in Odisha are being assaulted inside hospitals. Instead of ensuring their safety and bringing the culprits to justice, the government is allegedly terminating contractual doctors and withholding the salaries of regular doctors who are protesting.

Is this how we treat the very people keeping our healthcare system alive?

A government that punishes doctors for demanding safety is sending a dangerous message to every healthcare worker in the state. Doctors deserve protection—not intimidation.

Odisha Government, stop targeting doctors. Address the violence. Restore salaries. Reinstate those affected. Healthcare cannot survive if doctors have to fear both mobs and the administration.

Unbelievable! The BJP Govt has actually submitted an affidavit in the Supreme Court to increase caste-based reservations in Madhya Pradesh and in the process, they’ve dragged Hinduism through the lows.

From the Bhagavad Gita to the Vedas to the Smritis, everything has been butchered and misquoted to suit their vote-bank politics. Hindu Rishis and Kings have been demeaned, scriptures selectively twisted and to top it all, the affidavit even glorifies Periyar and the British Raj, the very forces that openly abused, attacked and tried to dismantle Sanatan Dharma.

And this is coming from a Party that screams Hindutva from rooftops! A party that lakhs of Hindus trusted as the guardian of Dharma. Today, that very party is shamelessly insulting the foundations of Hinduism just to increase Caste Reservations.

Let’s be honest, BJP has stripped Hindutva to nothing more than an election-time costume. When elections arrive, they’ll dust off Hindutva, wave it in our faces, and expect blind support.

This is not just betrayal, this is BJP spitting on the very people who stood by them through thick and thin. And the irony? The so-called “Hindutva Party” is now doing the dirty work like Periyarites and the British, all for vote banks.

Shocked to know that Bhubaneswar Metro Rail contracts have been cancelled by BJP led #Odisha Govt.

It has always been our dream to develop #Bhubaneswar into a world-class city. We have been focusing on world class sports infrastructure, organising marquee international events, providing seamless modern transport and developing IT ecosystem to transform the temple city into a world class city.

#BhubaneswarMetro Rail Project would have reshaped the way city moves with #MoBus and other last mile connectivity complementing the city transport. Apart from alleviating congestion inside the city significantly, it would have been a huge catalyst for the expansion of city. Realizing the urgent need of a Metro System for enhanced mobility, we had set a watertight timeline of 2027 for Phase 1 of the project.

It’s now learnt from the notice by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to contractors that Odisha Govt has scrapped the Bhubaneswar Metro Rail project. The double-engine government has betrayed the people of Odisha by cancelling an important project like Metro Rail. The shocking decision by double engine will push the city 10 years back.
