@adsliaison @ppcClickShark The issue is a majority of advertisers consider 'top' to have always meant 'top of page' - which under the new definition no longer applies. Furthermore this now means the metric Top Imp. Share has changed - it no longer reflects imp. share at the top of the page.

@adsliaison @ppcClickShark This is very confusing to understand, Google should just have renamed them to 'Page 1 Ads' since a 'Top Ad' can now appear either at the top OR in the middle of the page. People read 'top' to mean top of the page not 'top' as in best performing.
