It’s more than likely written into their terms and conditions you “agreed to” that they can do this. And it could be based on the chase thing but that’s probably only on data point they have about you. Companies like this collect, buy, share, and sell data about you that goes into a pricing algorithm with the goal of getting the most money out of you as possible.
My recommendation would be to forget about the app. Only look for tickets through brave browser, clear browser data often, and never sign into your account until you’ve got tickets in your cart and ready to checkout.
