We want to remind you that your student’s spring 2024 STAAR EOC results are now available in the TEA Family Portal!

If your child participated in one or more of the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) End of Course (EOC) test(s), the scores to these tests are posted in the Family Portal along with information to help you understand how your child performed. You can access the Family Portal by logging into your Skyward Family Access from a computer, clicking the District Links button on the upper right corner and selecting the “TEA Assessment” link with your child’s name. This will link you to the Family Portal. If you need help accessing your Skyward Family Access, you can request help from [email protected].

Due to power outages on campuses and district buildings, GISD will not have regularly scheduled school tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29, 2024. All maintenance and custodial staff will report to work.

All after-school activities and events have been canceled for today, Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

We understand that there may be many questions regarding the end of the school year. Rest assured, we will promptly communicate any updates as soon as we have them. Please keep an eye on our website, social media, GRS-TV, and Skylert message system for the latest information.

- In observance of Memorial Day, all GISD campuses and facilities will be closed on Monday, May 27th.
- All classes will resume at their regularly scheduled time on Tuesday, May 28th, so make sure you show up and finish the year strong! 💪📚
- On Thursday, May 30th, we will have early dismissal and conclude our 23-24 school year! 🎉
