The intention of this thread is to highlight the epistemic limitation of the seemingly omniscient LLM. In this case, the AI are not just making careless mistake, hallucinating, confused or giving contradictory answer. They really don't know the intricacies of Singapore's history.

I came across the concepts of monoglossia & heteroglossia. I had a hard time digesting the underlying concept behind those words so I employed AI to help me understand the concept.

It worked somewhat as it managed to explain the difference between monoglossia and monolingualism.

By the way, I think I know why generative AI doesn't agree multilingual Singapore is monoglossic, or put differently, the LLM doesn't agree SG gov/policy was/is monoglossic because it is ignorant of certain aspects of SG history.

I posed this question about late statesman Lee Kuan Kew to the large language model (LLM)&it disagreed.I am not convinced by the points given within the answer and I feel like the artificial intelligence may fully grasp former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew's policy actions on then.

It's shocking to see a jewellery business running a social media ad campaign with a screenshot of a falsified headline and seemingly AI-generated photo.

Is the photo AI generated? It looks like it is. I can't find the source photo of Iswaran being escorted in such a manner. 🧐
