Abandoned bathhouse, France.
Dubbed the most beautiful bathhouse in Europe, many people came to visit, including kings, queens, and politicians. It was believed the minerals from the hot springs were healing and could treat and prevent skin and respiratory illness. Eventually, upkeep of the building became unmanageable, and the spa was closed. It has sat empty for approximately 20 years.

We had to drive 4 hours to and from this castle, with no promise that it would be accessible (spoiler alert: it was lol). And we had to hide our car and hike up the side of a mountain through a forest of pricker bushes to get to the property. It made me very cranky, but it was worth it.😅😂
