Always at the feet of the Guru- Swami Abhipada

"There was a government official came to visit long ago in the Isha yoga center and at one point there was no one to attend him. He got agitated " how come there is no one to assist me, I am (this from this). This is not good..."
Swami Abhipada met him and tried to calm him down. But looking at his anger, Swami ended up touching his feet apologized. This instantly made him silent. That man could not believe how can a monk touch his feet. He did not say much and completed his visit at the ashram and went back home silent.
Three days later he came back and met Swami Abhipada saying, "Swami I am not able to sleep for last 3 days". I wish I would know why it happened but as far as I knew him he was a pure soul. That was Swami Abhipada (Always at the feet of the Guru).
He was the first Brahmachari I met in Isha. Nearly 30 years he was with Sadhguru and the Ashram yet the depth of humbleness was immeasurable.
He was the first being who made me realise how the brahmacharis are here in the Ashram. He had made me realise that how important for us to be true to ourselves.
First time, I got to hear many stories of Isha and Sadhguru from someone other than Sadhguru.
Many untold stories that would have never come out otherwise.
I got the opportunity to be with him in both Coimbatore and in Bangalore. It was wonderful knowing him.
Yesterday, I was in Adiyogi Alayam, looking at his body laying down and people offering flower and love towards him for the last time. It just made me emotional because I always felt different whenever I saw him.
This time it made me realise about my mortal nature. I saw other brahmachari giving shradhanjali to him. I wonder how would they be feeling within themselves.
Indeed, it is truth that this is going to happen to all of us. But still it feels a great loss."
