Every week on @bbcqt some donut talks about asylum hotels as if they are a 5* luxury environment. FB needs to fact check comments about ‘all you can eat buffets’ and ‘5* Hotels’ people in asylum accommodation (let’s stop calling them hotels) get basic food often in shared rooms

It is totally immoral that the Home Office is still applying normal visa restrictions to those fleeing Ukraine.

The Government must urgently provide a simple sanctuary route to the UK for all who need it. This is our moral duty.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Secretary, @DominicRaab, told the BBC this morning: “Misogyny is absolutely wrong, whether it’s a man against a woman, or a woman against a man.”

That should dispel any illusions about how seriously the Tories take tackling misogyny.
