@wanted4mogging because people mistake familiarity for attraction. The more you see someone, the more you think they are attractive. So this delusion emerges where X streamer is “the hottest person alive” when they’re actually just, a guy (on steroids)
@welcome2onukoro@twinkmoder Incorrect. What we wish were true and what is true are different things presently and maybe always.
The layer of plausibly-deniable subterfuge-fucking exists and is vibrant and fully contains 80% of “straight people fucking gay” that everyone lusts after.
@riskybagz@eth_taco@viewsceo Your second sentence is the entire basis for why Clavicular exists. Women *used* to “not care” about looks. Now they don’t have to pretend to like ugly guys for financial support so male beauty standards matter now.
Where do you think looksmaxxing came from?
lesson in this: don't reference people's profiles or try to be clever off it. they probably don't remember it, and you don't want to be making a girl have to try to understand you (off the bat for sure, never at all even better)
@barnacleboy6999@localsweety being here 10 minutes after this is posted feels like being on the ground floor of a startup that's going to IPO for a trillion dollars
@ryangrim It’s not a lack of self awareness Ryan. It’s fascism. They know they are lying. They are projecting a worldview where others are lesser and therefore not entitled to dignity or justice. We are right because we are we.
Stop giving them the cloak of idiocy to hide behind
@ettingermentum counterpoint: I’m super politically engaged and I have yet to come across any viral Steyer media. Not a single clip of his case has reached me, a power-consumer. I don’t think Steyer ever broke through like how Pritzker already has on occasion.
Graham Platner: “We should never tax someone into poverty. We should also still raise taxes on billionaires and corporations. Bezos wants us to think if you raise his individual taxes, that money isn’t going to pay for all the things you want. That’s why we’re not raising it just on you. We’re raising it on all 930 billionaires in the US. It’s why we’re also not just going after your income, but the wealth as well. The wealth they sit on, the wealth they never actually bring into the real world so they never pay capital gains on it, but they borrow against it so they can have liquidity. Of course Jeff Bezos is gonna tell us if we raise his taxes things won’t get better. He doesn’t want us to raise his taxes. He’s a greedy person. That makes perfect sense to me that he would say that. He’s just entirely wrong and self-serving”
@TerryWatkinsJr1 posting this just makes you seem like a bitter hater loser who is jealous of Hasan.
you hate a guy, so your opinion is controlled by who he dislikes? are you a dog?
@nicklmg this is so important to narratively get across to people. normal people struggle to imagine the incentives the crazy-powerful operate under. you have to literally draw a line like "he *literally* did things that will *directly* give him 100s of billions of dollars"
