A 23 year old girl, full of dreams was kidnapped by bandits.

They demanded for 50 million naira ransom.

Her family begged, pleaded, and cried for mercy, but the bandits refused to reduce the ransom.

For two weeks, her father fought like a lion. He borrowed, sold, and bled to raise every kobo.

Finally, he had the 50 million. He called them, desperate to hear his daughter’s voice one more time before paying.

She came on the phone.

And instead of begging to be saved, she told her father; “don’t pay. I will kill myself if they release me.” She was woefully failed by the system but extremely BRAVE

Because for fourteen days. Fourteen unthinkable, merciless days, those monsters had been raping her.

Over and over, daily, hourly, destroying her soul while in the camp of the monsters.

The bandits hearing what she said to her father, they put a bullet on her head. Then made a video and pictures of her final moment and sent to her family.

That girl didn’t die, she was murdered after being tortured in ways no human being should ever suffer.

This is not about politics anymore, this is about our humanity. This is about mothers who will never hold their daughters again, and fathers who gather ransom only to receive a corpse.

Even young girls who go to sleep terrified that tonight might be their turn.

Me? It shall never be well with any body, man, woman, boy or girl who turns their eyes away from this. May peace never find the heart that excuses and ignore evil for power.

May every tear shed by the family of the victim
rise as fire and brimstone against those who enable this madness in government and in every realm.
