Researchers develop a ceramic implant that slowly releases doxorubicin-loaded liposomes directly where osteosarcoma is removed – killing bone cancer cells while supporting healthy bone-forming cells. Local drug delivery could help reduce chemotherapy side effects while repairing bone defects after tumour surgery.
