If I have to say one bad thing about the new Gundam show is that I don't vibe with the MC's design. First male protagonist in more than 10 years and he looks a little too plain.
Especially compared to the two previous female MCs.
Zach gets too much of a past for someone who came from the whitest kids you know lol. Not that he doesn't have talent cuz clearly he does but ppl think he's like a Hitchcock level horror master
I agree. A horror movie in the snow DOES sound cool. And the overall look of this film looks AMAZING. But heres the thing. If you wanna do a unique take on RE, don't claim its "canon with the games" and "this takes place during RE2 and RE3". Cause its clearly NOT those things.
Mark Hamill reveals J.J. Abrams refused to let Han, Luke, and Leia reunite on camera, telling Mark that Star Wars was no longer Luke Skywalker's story
"In the sequel trilogies... I only had two cameos."
"I said, 'Aren't we going to have a moment where all three of us get together to raise the roof? It'll only take 30 seconds.'"
"And J.J. said, 'Well Mark, it's not Luke's story anymore.'"
"I said, 'Star Wars wasn't Obi-Wan's story, but Alec Guinness had a crucial commitment, you know?'"
"Anyway, nobody listens to me."
Because he was pushing hard for race-based casting for characters…and then complained about it publicly when he got what he wanted.
When people said “wasn’t this what you wanted?” - he likely couldn’t take it and left.
America Chavez is one of Marvel's biggest failures. A character meant to represent modern America, young queer Latina women, that went nowhere. Not because the idea was bad, but the execution was so poor (in the comics and tv) that it died on the vine.
There was nothing cohesive or sensible about the storytelling in The Marvels lmfao.
Character journeys through meaningful continuity in the MCU has been dead since Endgame.
I'm gonna be honest I don't really like this version of Morph. He used to be the funny guy in the group back in the original show who became tragic...
But now, he's just that annoying gay friend from chick flicks who tries too hard to tell you he is gay but isn't even funny.

Anyone looking for realism in fiction is already fighting a losing battle. Fireballs dragons laser swords and spaceships traveling through tike don't need a 30min interlude where everyone makes sure to eat their food groups
That's honestly the most absurd take I've ever read. The big names are still big because they sell. If they've reached a milestone it isn't obvious to the public
Personally, I think all legacy characters should be retired and have replacements take over. There's a point where a character just doesn't have the mileage anymore.
Bad comedy isn’t just a SUPERGIRL issue. It isn’t even just a capeshit issue.
Even modern blockbusters like MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE can’t help but use cheap lowbrow Reddit humor that’s commonly found in a typical Ryan Reynolds feature.
Danny Rand Iron Fist is an unfortunate casualty of the pop culture hysteria over cultural appropriation, like its not racist a white guy who can use magical kung fu
